Cal Bookend - Nickel

A simple combination of two steel bars, each bent and drilled to a precise degree. A single bolt draws the two bars into a subtle embrace. Finished in Nickel or Black.

The Cal Bookend was conceived as a simple construction detail. Normally, a single bolt is not enough to secure two rods together, but bend the two rods across one another and a single bolt can lock them up into a distinct tripod form. This caltrops form became the inspiration for our bookends.
