Candle Brick, designed by Sebastian Bergne, is a candle holder made with the most basic of construction materials: Brick.
"Locally sourced clay is formed using a simple wooden mould. After the bricks have been dried for two weeks in carefully controlled conditions they are fired to around a thousand degrees over 24hrs. Three days of cooling follow before the kiln can finally be unpacked."
I love the use of an unusual material like this. But maybe moreso love his pun made with the regular holes we see in a normal construction brick.
