Bibita Bottle Rack by Max Frommeld is a minimal wine rack designed with an eye towards dutiful service and elegant display. 

A simple modular unit can accommodate any number of bottles and it can stack in either direction to suit the space as needed. It is an elegant form of course, but I feel the light colored wood and boxy shape keep it grounded and unfussy.
